This publication brings together a set of questions and problems that have arisen over the years from various experiences in the field of research, art and personal dealings. The author has decided to include diverse voices with the certainty that none of them provides definitive answers. The manuals and solutions to questions whose foundations are based on subjectivity are nothing more than materials that take us away from the most important thing: from listening, from understanding that the solution is located in the same dynamic and changing relationship with others. Not elsewhere.

This publication was also born from the migratory process. From the author's experience of having left Venezuela where she worked in social reinsertion programs, public schools and art institutions. Now in another country with other social and cultural dynamics, the question arises: how to continue working with the other in a space where she does not belong?

Diana Rangel at La Escocesa generated a meeting space called “Policies of pedagogy in art”. This meeting, aimed at artists, managers, curators and researchers, served as the basis for the writing of this publication. Thanks to the relationship with this group of people, the questions were refined, the topics were discussed and we all sought to raise issues to help individual practices.

The publication is intended to be used in discussion groups or for individual use as it is composed of questions, problems and references. The set of questions raises reflections on various topics or universes that may arise when carrying out a pedagogical practice in the field of art.
