Cosmotributos

ancestral technologies to care for life in the territory with Jeisson Castillo

Cosmotributos is a sensitive experience that proposes us to deleve into ancestral technologies of surrender and cleansing to learn how to take care of life within the territory. Through guided meditations, we will be ready to sort memories and intergenerational experiences, and to clean the waters, air, earth and fire of the territory from the contaminations left by our daily practices.

The experience begins with a collective conversation on cosmopolitics, understood as relational frameworks that place us within a network of beings more-than-human, with whom we share the territory and with whom it is necessary to learn to agree on coexistence.

At the same time, it offers a space for exchange to think about how art can remember, activate and share this knowledge, broadening the scope of our creative practices towards a collective and communitarian being that is territorial.

Cosmotributos is an invitation to reflect on reciprocity as the foundation of life: to assume that in order to exist we take energy from others -plants, fungi, animals or people-, and that this gesture implies care, respect and a deep recognition of the importance of the other.

The workshop is open to those who wish to explore the territory and its multiple dimensions of care, as well as to artists and creators interested in intertwining this knowledge with their processes. In order to maintain an intimate and attentive space, the maximum capacity is 20 people, favoring an environment in which to share, listen and collectively sustain these practices.
