Radio Hiperlocal works as an open mic radio recreational space, where the community of La Escocesa and external communities related to her will be free to contribute what they want in a radio program that will last twelve hours live on platforms that allow easy access in a variety of formats. It is a process of self-built and self-care spaces that begins with the assembly of the physical and emotional space of sonic recreation itself. This will be a three-day process before the radio, in which the structure/stage will be assembled. This is the culmination of the work of the collaborative research group Cerámica de Código Abierto coordinated by Mercè Jara Muns within her research project MD y RRSS: Cerámica Open Source selected by La Escocesa in the 2021 artistic research and experimentation open call.
The session will open at 12:00 with the free workshop El cuerpo de la voz, around the care and development of individual and group voices.
Do you want to participate? Send us an email to radiohiperlocal(at)gmail.com and tell us in which format you want to join us.
In what time slot can you intervene? It is important, for the live broadcast, that we know at what time you would start (when you want to finish is not so important).
What format are you going to use? Are they digital files? What kind of files? Or, do you work with the body and need space? Or do you carry instruments (including voice) with or without amplification? This in order to be prepared for your presentation. For this reason we ask you to arrive half an hour before your intervention, in order to adjust details.
Don't forget that Radio Hiperlocal is to be enjoyed collectively, so we ask you not to invite the public to the station, but participants. Our audience will be on the other side of the antenna, live through radio Dublab.es (until 16h) and Twicht (all hours).
This is a self-care space where attitudes that compromise the safety of the participants are not welcome. Any person who threatens the integrity of this space will be invited to leave.
