TEJA Network (Network of Cultural Spaces Supporting Emergency Situations) announces its 2026 Emergency Residency Programme for artists and cultural workers residing in the West Bank and Jerusalem. In response to the challenges facing the Palestinian artistic community, TEJA is expanding its programme to offer three new three-month residencies in Spain, designed to provide a safe and creative environment in which artists can continue their work and connect with new audiences and local networks.
Those selected will receive accommodation, legal and psychological support, a monthly stipend of €1,300 and up to €1,000 for production expenses. The residencies will take place in various partner spaces in Madrid, Barcelona and Córdoba, and aim to foster cultural exchange, reflection and dialogue within a supportive artistic community.
Through these new residencies, TEJA reaffirms its commitment to amplifying Palestinian voices and empowering artists as they navigate these turbulent times.
