Conflict is not the same as abuse is the extension of a conversation between Laura Macaya and Hamaca, which was given orally during the session [Conflict] is not the same as [Abuse] on 14 November 2023 at the Centre d'Arts Santa Mònica (Barcelona).

The publication takes its title from the book Conflict is not abuse (Sarah Schulman, 2016) and starts from its premises to begin a conversation about how punitive logics prevent repairing and healing conflicts.
