Lizette Nin

 
Lizette Nin is a Dominican artist who is currently based in Barcelona. Her work revolves around autobiographical aspects, her Afro-descendant roots. With her art, she intends to give visibility to groups and social struggles forgotten by the mainstream.
The last months of her activity have been distributed in scholarships and residencies at the MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art Barcelona), Bar project, 2020-2021. The La Escocesa creation factory (Barcelona) and Tangent Projects (Barcelona). She has recently starred in solo shows at the Uxval Gochez Gallery in Barcelona (Orí Odé) and Tangent Projects (WO). In the last months she has participated in the art Hunt London, UK. This December 15 she in the collective (Re-) feel tous les jours / Techniques de résistance carried out by the French gallery Mécènes du Sud Montpellier-Sète
