Dystopie Sound Art Festival

DEADLINE: July 1st

Description: Dystopie Festival brings diverse sound art viewpoints together in an exhibition that deals with current dystopian moments, as well as those of an imagined future. Following on from the premiere of the double edition Dystopie Berlin-Istanbul (2018/2019), the guest country for this year’s festival will be Brazil. In addition to artists from Brazil, the festival invite sound artists from Europe to submit new or existing works that deal with the topic of ‘dystopia’ in the broadest sense.

  • Who can apply:
    The open call is for sound artists living in the European region.
     
  • Financial Envelope:
    Artist fee for existing works: 500€.
    Artist fee for new works produced for the festival: 1500€ .
    Production budget: 1500€ on average per project, including costs for materials and special equipment (also rented equipment). If your project will be selected a precise cost calculation will be needed.
    Transportation, travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the festival.

XXIV Graphic Humor Contest «Curuxa do Humor» 2020

    Residents in Spain. CURUXA category: for people over 25. Category: CURUXA-NOVA: for people from 16 to 25 years old.

    2nd Prize (over 25 years) 1,500 euros
    1st Prize (from 16 to 25 years old) 1,000 euros

    annual murals and urban art festival  in the neighborhoods of Santa Eugenia de Ter and Can Gibert del Pla with a 100% social and multicultural thematic.

Centre d’Art la Panera

  • Description:  
    Center d'Art la Panera annually call the Beques Art i Natura a la Creació, in collaboration with the Centre Artinatura CDAN / Centro de Arte y Naturaleza Museu de la Vida Rural and Fundación Cerezales Antonino y Cinia, in order to promote research and creation in the field of visual arts. Two-month stay at the Center for Art and Nature.

    There are three categories, between 5,000, 15,000 and 30,000 euros, depending on the case.

  • Comments :
    Fund to support cultural initiatives that, in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis, reinforce solidarity within Europe. Grants can be used to finance a wide range of activities ranging from seed money for entirely new initiatives to (co) financing to build on existing ideas at the European level. They can cover materials costs, office costs, communication tools and online work, production costs, but also expert fees and personnel costs. They are looking for imaginative cultural initiatives, large or small, that reinforce solidarity and the notion of Europe as a shared public space in response to the current crisis and its aftershocks. It is open to individuals, groups and organizations from all sectors and civil society in general.
