I'm a visual artist, and my main practice is photography and video.

I am interested in the relationships between spaces, places, architectures, and their uses and experiences that challenge the productivist logics; the concept of social time, particularly in its relationship with the neoliberal project, and the practices of resistance that from the South(s) make it possible to create other imaginary of life. Perhaps I can say that in my artistic practice, and in my life, I look for times and ways of being that open up spaces of thought and observation of the rhythms of bodies, of days and nights, of the matter of which things are made.

Parallel to my authorial work, I organize and participate in different spaces of debate and collective thought, such as study groups, film clubs or workshops.

My work has been exhibited in different places such as: Elba Benitez en Kvadrat, Madrid; Sesc Pinheiros, São Paulo; Villa Iris, Fundación Botín, Santander; Haus der Photographie, Hamburg; Edp Foundation - Museu da Electricidade, Lisbon; Centre de Cultura SaNostra, Palma de Mallorca; Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon; Casa de Serralves - Fundação de Serralves, Porto; La Casa Encendida, Madrid. In recent years I have received grants from the such institutions as "La Caixa" Foundation, Ayuntamiento de Barcelona and the Gulbenkian Foundation.

In 2017, I finished my first film "Notas de Campo", in which I tried to outline a generational perspective on the experience of the years of austerity in Portugal. I am currently preparing my second film "The Time of Things", a reflection on how social time and work are defining and shaping our lives.

In 2017 I moved to Barcelona, where I did the MACBA Independent Studies Programme. I now live between Barcelona and Lisbon.
