    Extraordinary benefit for basic supplies.
     
  • Who can apply:
    Professional people of the performing arts, visual arts, music and audiovisual, and other cultural activities that have not obtained any type of income, between March 14 and May 6
     
  • Amount of money:
    The amount of the benefit, which is paid in a single payment, is the equivalent to the daily amount of the current monthly income sufficiency indicator of Catalonia (IRSC)

SUBSIDIES TO COVER EXPENSES OF COMPANIES AND CULTURAL ENTITIES DURING THE SANITARY CRISIS CAUSED BY COVID-19.

  • Description:
    Support the financing of operating expenses of companies and cultural entities during the health crisis caused by COVID-19.
     
  • Who can apply:
    Companies, whether natural or legal persons, and private non-profit entities that meet the following requirements:
    a) Have obtained a grant from the Catalan Institute of Cultural Companies or the Consortium of the Plan for the rehabilitation and equipping of Barcelona theaters between 2015 and 2019.
    b) Have submitted a request for the grant to the Catalan Institute of Cultural Companies or to the Consortium of the rehabilitation and equipping plan for Barcelona theaters that has been processed, even if it was dismissed, between 2015 and 2019.
    c) Have registered a cultural establishment open to the public in Catalonia as an economic activity during the year 2019 or 2020.
    For the purposes of this call, cultural establishments shall be understood as art galleries, cinemas commercials, theaters, bookstores and music rooms.
     
  • Amount of the benefit:
    The amount of the subsidy is a maximum of 30,000.00 euro, depending on the expenses. From 600 to 5,000 euro: the same amount. Remaining amount, if it exceeds 5,000 euros: 70%

EXTRAORDINARY BENEFIT FOR THE SELF-EMPLOYED WORKERS

  • Who can apply:
    Self-employed workers
     
  • Amount of the benefit:
    The amount will be 70% of the monthly benefits base
     
  • Requirements:
    Be members and in registration, in the date of the statement of the state of emergency, in the Special Regime of the Social Security Institute of the Freelance workers or Self-employed workers.

  • Description:
    Promote the training and professional development of creators and interpreters in the fields ofthe visual arts, performing arts, music, thought and new creative sectors, by participating in specialized training courses or activities that take place outside of Catalonia. Doctorate studies and private classes are excluded from this call.
     
  • Who can apply:
    Individuals domiciled in Catalonia or domiciled outside Catalonia, but who retain a Catalan civil neighborhood.

GRANTS FOR THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF ART GALLERIES

  • Description:
    Support the projects of internationalization of art galleries. Grants awarded in accordance with these rules have considered minimum aids.
     
  • Who can apply:
    Natural or legal persons constituted as art galleries whose main activity is the exhibition of works of art open to the public for commercial purposes, whether they have their own exhibition space or not.

GRANTS FOR PUBLIC DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES FOR CULTURE

  • Description:
    Grants for professional activities that aim to create, retain or increase cultural audiences in
    Catalonia in the following areas: the performing arts (dance, theater and circus), visual arts, audiovisual arts, music and multimedia activities related to the areas described above.
     
  • Who can apply:
    a) Private companies, whether natural or legal persons, and private non-profit entities that are not majority owned by public administrations.
    b) the groups of companies or entities mentioned in section a).

EXCEPCIONAL BENEFIT
BOE 4/05/2020, Government of Spain

DEADLINE: One month starting from the date of the announcement of the end of the state of alarm, both inclusive.

  • Who can apply:
    Workers whose contracts have been terminated due to the declaration of the state of alarm and who do not have sufficient contributions to access unemployment insurance.
     
  • Amount of the benefit:
    The amount of the benefit will be equal to 80% of the current monthly multiple-effect incomepublic indicator, regardless of whether the previously terminated fixed-term contract has been full-time or part-time.

  • More:The only requirement is that the terminated contract’s duration was at least two months. The duration of this benefit will be one month, extendable if so determined by Royal Decree-law.
