In this session, legends from the oral tradition of Barcelona, tales elaborated during the intercultural and feminist laboratory of Orality organized by the artist, as well as stories shared during the oral collective work sessions are intertwined.

Storyteller: Li Morenita | Lab participants: Ilham Abudalal Abudalal, Verónica Moya Nieto, Bentolhoda Ataollahi, Moema Madalena, Imane Abouihssan, Amy Amar, Malinalli García Melchor y Julia Gorostidi.

Joana Capella
El ball de la civada jo te’l cantaré
(Performance, 30 mins)
It is an action in which a body executes a series of choreographic sequences, typical of its current work environment, involving the execution and repetition of movements and muscular efforts in a given space, and in which the rhythm is marked by the action of the audience.

Saturday 14 | 20:45h
M0nster.l4b
Posesión _ Baile Enmascarado
(Performance, 45 mins)
It is a performative-choreographic exercise that approaches masks from their capacity of possession. The incorporation that the bodies of Lu Chieregati and Feña Celedón make of the different beings that each mask proposes, resignify and update their meanings, readings and imaginaries, making them alive and present. For Talleres Oberts de La Escocesa, M0nster.L4b proposes a short version of the piece that was originally presented at the Grec Festival.
