summer workshop
This July, La Escocesa offers a summer workshop for adults. Two of the factory's workshops will be activated with the intention of offering intensive training in risography and analog photography. The compact format of the workshop is a good way to be introduced to new techniques and to get a real taste of the discipline in question, and at the same time, to inhabit La Escocesa by getting involved in the space and understanding its complexity.

July 12, 13 and 14 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Starting from the principle of multiplicity that the medium presents us, this workshop given by Patricia Martín and Edgar Prieto from Do the Print proposes to approach printing, using these basic principles that this process of duplication presents us. This would mean accepting them with their virtues and imperfections, without this being a brake, but rather a challenge and acceptance of all the elements involved in the process so that they become part of it. Throughout these three sessions we will review these concepts and starting from an A3 as a delimiting measure, we will explore the composition and creation beyond the matrix, where these elements become generators and tools, to finish composing an image or creating content.

July 19, 20, 21 from 7pm to 10pm
This workshop, taught by Marta Sellarés, proposes, through three sessions, to introduce us to the work of the photographic laboratory and the use of the enlarger and silver gelatin positivat as a means through which to experience the creation, manipulation and reinterpretation of images. Each session will focus on a part of the photographic process (the negative, the exposure and the development) proposing an exercise of experimentation through which we will delve into the variants and creative possibilities of each of these phases of work.
