open call for residencies in collaboration between La Escocesa - Matadero Madrid 2023

La Escocesa and Centro de residencias artísticas Matadero Madrid open a new call to offer an art production residency for a visual artist from the context of Barcelona.

The purpose of this call is to support the practice of an artist through a three-month residency, between January 12 and April 12, 2024 at Matadero Madrid.

This call is aimed at individual artist in the field of visual arts who have their residence or main field of action around Barcelona. Any person who meets the requirements of the open call can apply, with no age limit or specific professional trajectory.

endowment of the scholarship

• Travel by train from Barcelona to Madrid and back.
• An economic allowance of 6,100.00 Euros (to which taxes and/or withholdings may be applied) as a residency allowance that includes accommodation expenses.
• Work space.
• Coverage of their needs and accompaniment in the different phases of their creative process.
